A. Life expectancy is how long a average persons life is. Income per capita is how much money the average person is making per year. Murder per 100,000 is how many people on average are murdered out of those 100,000 people per year.
B. Life expectancy helps measure the standard of living by measuring how healthy a society is. The healthier the society the longer the average person will live. Income per capita measures economic development by measuring how much money people are making. The more money people are making the more economically advanced society and with people having more money the standard of living rises. Murder per 100,000 measures economic development by showing us how desperate people are. If a person has a higher standard of living then they are less likely to go murder someone.

    Variable 1: The core countries in Europe in North Americas life expectancy and Income rises rapidly until a point where it hovers. The more developed Asian countries follow. Certain countries in central and southern America and some Asian and African countries continue to hover in the same industries. This is because they have not yet had their industrial revolution. They have not had the advances in healthcare and agriculture. Therefore people are doing more primary sector jobs instead of tertiary higher paying jobs.
    Variable 2: The core countries murder rate stays low due to higher incomes and people in less desperate situations. Sometimes countries will rise up on the murder half the table due to war, droughts or other such hardships. A lot of these happen in previously colonized less developed countries who are  sometimes unstable and tend not to have higher income and more people in a serious need for resources this leads to more people being murdered.

Where is it?

             Somaliland is located in the horn of Africa, just off the Gulf of Aden. It is a unreconized country of 3.5 million that declared independence 1991 in the Somalian civil war.
             Yemen is just north of the Gulf of Aden and south of Oman and Saudi Arabia. Bahrain is an island just off the coast of Saudi Arabia, north of Qatar. Saudi Arabia is between Africa and the middle east. Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain may all merge to become the United Arabian Union.

Why are they there? Part 1

            Somaliland is there because that is the Area that it had claimed after they seperated from Somalia in 1991. Although it is not internationaly recognized. I believe that these borders may become a reality because conditions in Somalia are getting better and the African Union are looking for diplomatic solution.
            The United Arabian Union may become a reality. The thing that may unite Yemen, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia is the common threat from Iran. All these countries are very worried of attack from Iran. Also they are all Sunni Muslim monarchies which could unite them more easily.

Why are they there? Part 2

            Somaliland split from Somalia along an Cultural boundary. Somaliland is much more peaceful than the rest of Somalia. Which is a real centripetal force for Somaliland and a real centrifugal force for Somalia.
            The new theoretical boundary for the United Arabian Union is also a Cultural boundary. All these countries has a Sunni Muslim majority, which is a really powerful centripetal force. Further they all fear the military of Iran, which is a real powerful centripetal force.

What difference will it make?

             Somaliland will impact the devolutionary movements in the horn of Africa, by giving Somalia a more peaceful neighbor and would attract many people from the remaining territory of Somalia.
             The United Arabian Union would affect the Area because Iran would feel threatened by these countries uniting against it. And other countries in the Area such as Oman may want to join the new state.

               Most Hispanics and Latinos are located in states along the border of Mexico. There counties closer to the border tend to have a higher percentage of Hispanics and Latinos.  But next to all Hispanics and Latinos are located in the eastern half of the United States. There are not nearly as many in the western half of the US. There is a higher amount Hispanics and Latinos along the east coast.
              The reason for most Hispanics and Latinos to be in that area is because generally immigrants would not have that much money to travel across the United States. So stay close to the border. Where they find jobs and begin to build their life in the US. Also the Hispanic and Latino population may have relatives and friends closer to the border, which would influence those that could afford it to stay closer to their friends and family. There are also jobs there. However many of these people are exploited with low salaries, but their are jobs none the less.
              It makes a difference because it influences people perception of an area as well as altering its politician landscape. Its important for the states and counties to know know is living there and how to provide for them and to make plans for the areas future.
